Turkish Get-Ups

8kg – some
12kg – lots

Two observations:

1) Turkish get-ups are an exercise that kind of sneak up on you. I do them really slowly and methodically with super-strict form on each rep. It doesn’t seem like you’re working hard, then you get done and realize you are soaked in sweat and in desperate need of a nap. But maybe that’s just me.

2) Do you know how hard it is to lay on your back, hold a kettlebell up over your head with one hand and take a picture of it with the other hand? Super hard, that’s what it is. Super stupid is also what it is. Luckily, I lived through it.

Seemed like a good idea at the time.
