A Clean Start

Aaaahhhh, the first day of a new cycle. There’s nothing like a fresh new training log sheet unsullied by failures of the past. A clean start, a new beginning. It makes me positively giddy, rubbing my hands together in anticipation of the limitless posibilities in store.

It kind of feels like this:

Except it’s not super eval. Not even a little bit eval. It’s just awesome.

That being said, today was day one.

Bench Press – 5/5/5+
60# / 70# / 80# (5 reps)

Body Rows – 3 x 10

3 x 10 Supersets of:
Barbell curl – 40#
Ring dips – red band

Mwuahahahahah!

On a non-super eval note, I happened to catch a video from the Diesel Crew on how to instantly increase your pushup reps. Turns out the cue is to tighten your armpits. I tried it… and it works! Why didn’t someone tell me to tighten my armpits three years ago, for crying out loud?
