Leg Day


Morning Workout:

3 rounds for time:

100′ walking lunge
50 squats
25 supermans


 The squats immediately following the walking lunges were BRUTAL. I didn’t figure out until the last round that if I took bigger steps I would have to do fewer lunges. Duh. They still hurt though. In the middle of the second set of squats an old Tom Petty song came on with the lyrics “something, something gates of hell.” Yes, gates of hell indeed. 

I wasn’t looking forward to sparring class tonight, because that just smokes your legs and my legs were already pretty well seasoned. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, no one else showed up. So no class.

Tonight I did the CFSB shoulder press workout:

Shoulder press 5×5


15 x 50#

Seemed a little easier this time, and I threw in one set of 70# and got four reps up.
