Snatch 70 pounds, 30 reps
Pretty light weight, but I am extremely deficient on this lift. Actually, I’m downright awful and I’m not at all comfortable with it. I hardly ever do snatches, which would probably account for the above woefulness. My lower back really hurt after I was done, I think I’m arcing a lot at the end of the lift.
One more thing I need to add to my list of goats. Let’s see, that makes it pull-ups, snatches, overhead squats, running, ring dips… Kind of like Steve Martin in The Jerk, “That’s all I need, this lamp. This lamp, and this ashtray, that’s all I need. And this magazine. This lamp, this ashtray, and this magazine, that’s all I need.” “Snatches, that’s all I need to work on. Snatches, and running, that’s all I need. And ring dips. Snatches, running and ring dips, that’s all I need. And overhead squats… but that’s all I need.”
