My shoulder is feeling a little bit better. I tried some pushups and it felt ok, so I tried a burpee and it did not feel ok. I think I’ll lay off the burpees for a while and work on something — anything — else. I also pulled my calf muscle last week, somewhere during the mashup that was tuck jumps, back extensions, double under practice, forward roll practice and judo. 

I’m so close to a double under! I’m just hitting the top of my feet on the second spin of the rope. Arrrgh.

So, I’ve just been sitting on the couch since Friday watching the Olympics and reading. Well, that and eating cake. But — it’s zucchini cake! It’s healthy, ’cause it has vegetables in it. It must be working, because I hit a PR in the deadlift today. Mmmmm, magic zucchini.
