100 Day Burpee Challenge: 12 burpees + 11 burpees missed from yesterday.

Big family party tonight for my birthday (which was in June — eh, we’re a little late) and my cousin Mikki who is heading back to Oklahoma for her teaching job. When we party in our family we have noodles. Let me explain, there couldn’t be a worse Zone meal in the universe. In fact, noodles might be the Anti-Christ of Zone meals. The Big Bad.

The noodles are homemade, of course. Three eggs, salt, milk or cream and add enough flour to form a firm dough. Roll out into 1/4 inch thick circles (or thicker depending on your preference), and let dry for 5-6 hours. Cut into thin strips, boil in chicken broth until tender. Serve over mashed potatoes. That’s right, not with mashed potatoes — over them. Mashed potatoes are homemade too: potatoes, milk or cream and butter. Oh, it’s good. So good. Noodles would be my last meal, if I ever got to choose it. As unhealthy as they are they might actually be my last meal some day. I can easily visualize myself meeting my end face down in the plate. But what a way to go.
